My Bethel Experience Part 16
by new boy inwe are nearing the end of the journey.......so this next two chapters will be called "odds and ends" or things i didn't put in the right chapters..........because i thought of them after those chapters were written..... .
bethel joke.
three guys are sitting around, each drinking a large glass of beer.........a publisher, a pioneer and a bethelite.......just then, a fly lands in all three of their glasses of beer........the publisher....pushes the glass away and says....."i can't drink this now"...........the pioneer looks over, and picks the fly out of the beer and keeps on drinking............the bethelite.........picks up the fly by its wings and holds its head over the glass and says "spit it out......spit it out!

elders wife swapping question
by unstopableravens ini hear of these stories of elders swapping wives, i remember when i was young hearing of three elders in florida doing this and getting dfed.
my question is this how is it possible to bring this up in conversation?
it seems impossible, how can there be multi elders that know each other willing and the wives?

one guy offered me his wheel barrow.
but--the wheel had fallen off.
however--i was still willing to make the deal--but then he saw my wife--and changed his mind.

well, i am back and still thoroughly conflicted, with my heart/loyalties as divided as ever.
please welcome me back, hear me out, and make me feel as welcomed as before.. the wtbts has changed so very much in recent years that i feel trapped in a completely different religion altogether.

you must know by now that jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 bce and that 607 was initially picked by ct russell by using his "pyramid scheme" measurements.
there is no hiding these facts yet you continue to preach this nonsense.

i must admit--after i quit in 1971--i used to occasionally attend just to keep the wife halfway endurable---but i hated it--and it must have been obvious. and it was even more obvious that several elders did NOT want me there either.
i really do think if a fader can make a clean break its best all round--or youre only postponing the inevitable.

Anytime you set foot in a KH and attend meetings and are counted while being seated you are in effect preaching this BS by your actions; you are in effect showing others around you that you endorse this bullshit weather you are going to keep ties with friends and family or not.
